Rear seat removal below
Tools:
Torx 30- rear seat removal
Torx 50 rear seat-belt removal
To remove upright seat backs:
-open trunk and release seat latch
-use your torx 30 to remove the bolt - seen below
Remove the passenger side:
-In the picture below, under the seat-belt on the left is the hole that the seat pin slides into. The seat-back might have to be angled a certain way to pull out, it was fairly direct and simple to do.
Remove the driver side back- repeat
Remove lower seat:
-pull up from front. the clips can be seen in the picture below rising from the edge of the carpet. concentrate your force in these two areas when lifting up.
If you'd like to remove the hardware and seat-belts use your torx 50
The contact area between the rear plastic and the metal cause a horrible buzzing from the exhaust vibration. There is even a small piece of felt that is sold from BMW to stop this vibration. Check it out HERE on real oem. #16
